  • D-Link.

    When will d-Link do a vista driver. They apparently will only do them for new products which i'm annoyed about as i had to use my 35 meter ethernet cable which Virgin Broadband gave me so have that going from downstairs all the way up.

    I have a 3 year old, cheap, no-name desktop (Cisnet) that runs on XP and am using a Linksys wireless router to connect with my brand new, expensive,  Dell laptop that is using Vista Home Premium.  The no-name desktop runs a gazillion times faster than the Dell laptop.  What gives?  I am SO frustrated!  Any help you ...

    In my case, two Macs and an XP PC have no difficulty seeing and connecting to my Apple Airport wireless which is connected in turn to DSL. My ISP has yet to upgrade their help screens to Vista, let alone the software (not that I'd use it: I prefer MS email programs, thank you very much, not some slick variation that's non-standard with Office) ...
