i am running vista ultimate on virgin.the connection i use is ethernet.if you are being charged £25 by virgin to install it cancel it and diy.none of the security software that comes with install disc work on vista. just connect broadband modem via ethernet cable and vista will install its own driver without any work by yourself.hope this helps.
