    Ref partition magic etc I've found Acronis software especially Easy Migrate fantastic not tried in Vista but save my neck once or twice re Windows XP which has been fine opratin wise but wanna upgrade your systems and its a nightmare having to reinstall and re register !     Not knowing this router personally, If it has an Ethernet Connection try connecting to your PC with that, rather than using a USB connection before you dosh out money on a new router.
