Install DirectX 9c & SDK's into it. Bizarre as it seems, a program I have, Caesar IV, would not run UNTIL it verified I had DX9c on the system. Though it claims it's not Vista capable, I had no problem getting System Requirements Lab to run. Once you allow an ActiveX to load, the game you choose will tell you, in a complicated chart, if you have the hardware to run the game.
