I an install vista ultimate but the ethernet and video controller drivers don't install....
nor will the wireless install....I have restored the PC back to vista premium as it was
when I got it... the restore CDs don't have any folders on them with the drivers either...
any help to get this Laptop up and running on vista ultimate ...

Gentlemen, thanks for your replies.
However, the server settings for Outlook on my Vista drive are exactly as they are in my XP drive and that works fine, so that's not it. Not to mention of course, before I installed Outlook, windows mail sent\received fine, other than the huge hanging problem.

I have the exact opposite, I can send mail, but cannot receive. It keeps asking for my pw\user repeatedly.
Had a problem with Windows mail before installing Outlook too. It would hang for 3-5 minutes with every operation, but it worked fine for a couple of weeks. No idea what triggered the problem.
