    Gentlemen, thanks for your replies. However, the server settings for Outlook on my Vista drive are exactly as they are in my XP drive and that works fine, so that's not it. Not to mention of course, before I installed Outlook, windows mail sent\received fine, other than the huge hanging problem. This is a bug which needs addressing as I ...

    Running Vista Ultimate here  I have the exact opposite, I can send mail, but cannot receive. It keeps asking for my pw\user repeatedly.   • Hotmail in Windows Mail

    I am trying to sync my Hotmail account with my Windows Mail in WIndow Vista. I have successfully synced Yahoo and Gmail but i have yet to get Hotmail to SYnc. Any thoughts

    If you are you going to be using Outlook on your new Vista Machine then try Outlook 2003/2002 Add-in: Personal Folders Backup This will make a copy of all your data in your Personal Folders List.
