Bruce941, It is a ripoff, but for less than the $160+ to upgrade to a different version of Windows Vista, and rather than having to boot another OS, you could just buy a third party fax solution. I use  FaxTalk's Vista Fax Software called FaxCenter Pro. It is easy to use and it is only $59 bucks. Much better deal than having to upgrade OS.
