My index score is 5.3

every rates at 5.9 but i was let down by the processor

in 10 days (pay day) i will be upgrading to Core 2 Quad 2.4 or 2.6 and i will changing my Graphics card to a 8800GTX and then i will update this score

I have changed Graphics card to a 8800GTX and have changed memory for DDR2 800Mhz but have not changed my CPU yet, Score has not changed

 

My Score is 3.1 !

 I have a new TOshiba Tecra M5 notebook, and even have Windows Aero theme on my Vista Ultimate Notebook.

 I am quite happy with the performance and the cool new fast search in Windows Vista.

I'm disappointed with the gaming graphics score, especially considering its a 512mb card, and with plenty of extra memory available.

My test score was 4.3. Not to shabby.

We can see that Vista takes a large toll on the hardware.

 My Score is 5.0 5.1 after my overclock (Running Windows Vista Business X64)

My WEI is 4.1 so Vista is running pretty smoothly.  There are two factors holding me back.  My Processor and my Primary Hard Drive is at a 4.1.  Is there any way to improve these two factors?

Prepare for Glory

Mine is 4.9 due to the processor and memory. My video card is an ATI X1950 Pro PCI-E and it rates around 5.9 for Aero, 5.8 for 3d if I remember correctly off of the top of my head.

Here is my machine:

ASUS A8N-E Motherboard w/integrated sound and network card
2 gigs Valueram PC3200 (400 mhz, CAS 3)
300G Raptor SATA 3gbs
ATI X1950 Pro w/256mb, 16x PCI-E
AMD64 X2 4200+
Vista Home Premium

Oh, and it's NOT overclocked in anyway (video or motherboard). 

All I know is, Gothic 3 and Oblivion run great. Also, 3dmark05 benched better under Vista than XP for me (by only a couple of hundred points).

UPDATE: Upgraded my drivers and my graphics scores went down.
