Place Vista In Sleep mode & it resumes a Few Minutes later

About two weeks ago this problem began.  When I put windows to sleep, it resumes on its own a few minutes later.  Any idea what may be causing this or how I may address it?  I am a rookie so I appreciate any assistance.  Thanks all who respond....

When I open the "View perfomance in details log" I see numerous error/warning messages.  Most notable is:

Have you tried looking at your devices, use network etc, to make sure the wake on action is set to off. I had a simular problem that turned out to be a mobo fault, but when the computer woke, a number of servises would not work, and I would have to power down to resume normal service
