Just curious, what do you currently have on your sidebar?
I Have:
I know my sidebar is a little sparse, though I have a tendency to try out a lot of new gadgets as they come out.
I am pretty new to Vista and I have...
Clock v1.0.0.0
Multi Meter 4 Cores v2.0
Universal Converter v1.0
Weather v1.0.0.0
Hi
The gadgets I have on screen now are the clock, UK radio player, Magic folder(best), Multimetre 4 cores and Systran for translating languages.
Magic folder is great. It sends files to designated folders, so you can keep you desktop uncluttered.

Two clocks - for two timezones
Calendar
Office - recent documents
Tube status - not that I check it before going on the tube, just looks nice and makes me feel good...
Vista orb Clock
Calender
Slide Show
CPU & RAM
Nero Copy
Interesting selections so far, does anyone else have any input?
And also, what would be the Ultimate, best gadget ever? Doesn't have to be anything currently out there, I'm just curious to see what people think.
I don't use them at all and have Sidebar disabled.
Clock? I have a watch on my wrist.
Calendar? It's Thursday
Performance? The machine's still running (probably faster without Sidebar using resources!!)
Memory usage? See above
Sorry
I love that clock!!!
*Bump*
Just thought I would add in that there are some new updates to things. Ultimate Explorer has a new version out that can do 50 websites! and the same people that made that also made a nifty gadget called System Control. Other than that, there has been some interesting stuff flying through Live Gallery.
windows vista magazine gadget!
radio gadget

Right now I'm just using the weather, RSS, and Picture default gadgets.
Since it's getting close to Halloween I created a countdown gadget with DesktopX.
Creepers Halloween Countdown
Currently using.
Clock
Multi-Meter (2 cores + RAM)
CPU & RAM gauges (looks better than multi-meter but only shows overall CPU usage).
iTunes gadget
Need to find one to monitor the CPU temps & Fan speeds.
Since my sidebar is a bit different these days, I thought I would post it up again, maybe give this thread a little more life:
