It is Vista Home Premium for me on my HP Pavilion with NVidia GeForce FX 6200. Great aero. Running Office 2007 Prof Plus and Firefox/Netscape. Going 64bit next PC. My only disappointment is the lack of built-in FAX add-on which was on my XP Home Ed. before. But overall, its great. God bless you all.

I'm using Home Premium as from what i seen people don't need the ultimate version as that just has a load of rubbish extras that you could get free with other companies. I only got Premium as i play alot of music and it is the best for it.

Installed Vista Home Premium - partitioned HD and retained WinXP MCE.  Had to wait months for software vendors to provide compatibility patches, e.g., Adobe PSE 5 and PE 3.  Patience is a virtue.  Now, what can we do about decreasing the shut-down time for Vista? (XP spoiled me)

my packard bell laptop came with vista home premium. had to re-install it though and have suffered 6 BSOD (blue screens of death). the calendar program is a waste of time. have been given a sandisk cruser platinum 2gb usb drive wth readyboost, allowed me to download a PIM from their website, very good program. like the sidebar, have downloaded a gadget which shows both processors being used.

I have Ultimate, but to be honest so far I haven't seen any reason why one of the lower spec editions wouldnt have suited my needs....Especially since MS have admitted that they are really slow in providing the freebies they promised as part of being an Ultimate owner

I got a friend to bring back Vista Ultimate Upgrade from the USA. There is no problems using a copy bought from USA and it is a fraction of the price!

    USA approx $250.00 (£125.00)

    UK (£200 - £250)

It is supported by Microsoft etc.

Vista Ultimate is very good and worth the US price but vastly overpriced in the UK.

You can't argue with the idea of free software!  Microsoft offered copies of Vista Business and Office 2007 via www.powertogether.com and I gladly accepted.  Although, an Anytime Upgrade to Vista Ultimate has been tempting me lately.
